How we make it

Every Storypoch episode is a true story from history, told in about a minute and a half.

1A true story

We look for moments that really happened and sound too strange to be true.

2Every fact checked twice

Every name, date and number is checked against at least two reliable sources. When sources disagree, we say so or leave the claim out. When episodes launch, each one gets a page listing its sources.

3Made with AI, decided by a person

AI tools do most of the making. Claude helps research and draft the scripts, ElevenLabs voices the narration, and image and video models build the papercraft scenes. A person picks every story, edits every line, reviews every cut and decides what gets published. Nothing goes out without that sign-off.

4Paper puppets, not real faces

Everyone on screen is a paper puppet. We don't recreate real people's faces or voices.

5Meet Footnote

The paper bookworm at the end of every episode is Footnote. He is the same mascot as on our sibling channel, Jinglepoch.

Footnote, a folded-paper bookworm in round glasses.
